I apologize for the poor photo but what can do this to a leaf over-night ?
Jap beetles haven't hatched here YET.
TIA,

Leaf Skeleton .........
What kind of plant is it, Scooter? And do you see any shiny spots on the leaves?
Thanks for asking Kim,
..............No tell-tale spots, bug-doo, slime or webs to be found on this brug leaf. I just would like to know what I'm looking for. At this point it is not a big concern , just a leaf here and there.
...................We all know how this could snowball and become a BIG problem.
.........This garden is partial shade and I have the usual assortment of spiders , lady beatles and rolly-pollies (dung beatles) doing their work.

There's been a few threads about such skelatonized leaves - have you seen any of these?

I found 'em by searching Google for skeletonized brug leaves...And all the hits were at DG! Way to go, Dave! :)
