I purchased several of these to grow over a large arbor that my husband built. He used concrete to set the 6x6 pressure treated poles. Will the acid or lime affect these plants? The nursery I purchased them from did not know.

I have two of these vines which I grew from seed. I do not know how lime or acid will affect your vine, but mine are planted in the ground with no special ammendments. Both of my vines are vigorous growers and don't seem to be very fussy at all.
