I got this daylily in a trade last year and it didn't come up this year. I dug around the crown and nothing out of the ordinary except no green leaves. Should I dig it out or will it maybe shoot up next year. Of all the daylilies that I have, none have ever done this. Thanks for any information.

Daylilies sometimes get crown rot..were the roots intact and healthy.. if so I would probably leave it be.. it may still start to grow.. if the crown rotted ..the rots will eventually rot too.. just wait and see..
