Help,we moved into our home last fall and had no problems. This srping the front hillside had a ground cover of yew or cypress. The ground cover started turning brown and dying. This is not the problem, we had planned on removing the creeping stuff, the problem is the animal killing the plant. I think it might very well be a gopher. My husband says they are little brown creatures the size of a large hamster.they have a very short tail. They also run pretty quickly. How do we get rid of them. The movie Caddy Shack just keeps going through my mind. Any advise would be appreciated. We are planning on putting in some terraces with retaining walls in this area.I am counting on someone for really good advice. Thank you.
Gophers I think
