I'm thinking of buying a couple of pots of bletilla striata, but I have a question about them that the nursery can't seem to answer. The leaves have a lot of brown spots. When I asked what they were and what caused them, I got two different answers from the same salesperson: it's from our hard water, and they were sent to use that way. Does anyone know about spotty leaves on bletilla ? Should steer clear of these particular plants?

I donīt know what might be causing the spots, but if I was going to pay for a plant, I would only pay for a fully healthy one.
