We're still looking for a greenhouse. Essex looks to be an economically good choice. We'd like to hear comments from anyone who has (or has seen) one.
Essex Greenhouse
I was recently contacted by 2 members who saw this forum. Here is my e-mail response for anyone who is interested:
Yes, my husband Bill purchased a 10' x 14' Essex after much Internet searching. He felt it was the best buy for the money. So far, we've assembled (in a garage) 2 sides and the back, but it's been so hot that we've put off further assembly waiting for cooler weather.
The instructions are difficult to follow. Bill corresponded with another Essex owner on the Garden Web site and between the pictures he provided and the pictures from the Essex manufacturer, he figured out how to put it together. The other Essex owner said it's a very strong structure. Here's the site:

The Essex mfg is glad to answer questions during the week (when he's not travelling); phone # is toll-free.
There's a wealth of information about all sorts of greenhouses at gardenweb.com; page down to the greenhouse forum; also http://www.greenhousegarden.com/ is a good site, says Bill.
I should add that we're glad we purchased the Essex.
