grapes

It is going to be a grapey kind of year!!! My vines are full of them!!!!

Do any of you ever use the leaves to cook in?

I've eaten them but never cooked them myself. Usually at restaurants. I believe it was Indian food. Talk about strong flavor!

Had to run outside to see how big mine are.
They look nice and full but not that big as of yet.
I have Concord and they look so nice this year better than last 2 years.
I wish the grapes were as large as yours rylaff they look wonderful.

Question for you experts, to you put bags over yours to keep birds and wasps from eating them?

i have flame and himrod. my blue died.
i don't bag mine but this is my 2nd yr with them producing. the birds don't mess with them as of yet.

i think i bought 2yr roots and the 2 vines have been in the ground for 4 yrs. i believe this one is the himrod white. they are getting big. this trellis is off the porch to shade it from the west sun. it is filling is real nice.
