It's taken three years

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

I planted these rhizomes three years ago, and finally, finally, finally, here are the blooms. Problem is, this does not look like Afternoon Delight! There is some purple in the lower leaf area, but not like the photo linked below.

I would say definately not Afternoon Delight. What do you all think?

Here it is in the Plantsdatabase: http://plantsdatabase.com/showpicture/18502/

Sue - 'Sure is a beauty. Is it possible, as with some other plants, that soil/sun/age may affect the coloring? Or is that not true with irises? I am glad to hear I am not the only one getting a sloooooow start with the irises. Your experience will give me more patience I think.

Hi Sylvia - I wish I knew about these conditions with Iris, I would guess that would hold true, just like any other plant?

And about the length of time, I had just given up on this one. And wouldn't you know it, the year I do.....here it comes! After it goes dormant, I'm moving it to a full sun spot and see what it does next year.

Does anyone think it could be Boss Tweed:
