May 14

Lewisville, MN(Zone 4a)

Finally got some rain overnight! They've been predicting for weeks & we never get any. Prediction for overnight was clear & cold! Haven't looked at the gauge yet but looks like ½". More to come!
We have been running some drip tape to keep the plants going.
Set out a bunch of summer squash & zucchini plants yesterday. Peas & beans are looking good, taters are coming up. 2 plantings of corn in & growing good.
We gave up a field that was 8 miles from home. The best move we have made. Lot easier to get things done on time when it's all close by.
We will get lots of greenhouse work done today. Pots & perennials have been selling well, so need to get more ready for sale.
Amazing how much green the grass looks after rain! Don't seem possible it could grow that fast overnight!
Everyone have a great day!
Bernie
OOP'S, looks like don't know what day it is. Subject should say May 13!
