Morning Glory question.....

Hey guys, I just realized it's almost 6:30pm and I haven't asked my "daily stupid question" yet!

So, here goes...I have some MG grown from seeds in a pot. The sprouts are about 2 inches or so now. I had intended to let them run up the latice onto our privacy fence but now I have another idea, just don't know if it will work.
Our back patio is covered by a roof made of latice. I was wondering if I could attach this pot to the top on the edge and let the vine trial over. Will it do that?

Sounds like it would work... as long as you can keep them watered.

Thanks poppysue. Watering won't be a problem. I'm a bit obsessive about it. I won't even let anyone else do it. We had a really wet weekend here so I didn't need to water and it almost killed me...our water bill is rediculous...but I have my husband convinced it's just like everyone elses. :)
