I've lost most of my tulips and assumed it is due to the grubs I find in my raised bed. I also find them in my regular beds when I do some soil turning. I checked on pestiside sites and they consider a site invaded if there are 40-60 grubs per square foot??? Or did I read that wrong? I certainly don't find that many. I can't keep petunias in that same raised bed and always blamed slugs. Now could it be the grubs as well? I am just lost for ideas why I can't grow some simple petunias in a raised bed that gets sun about 2/3 of the day. I am not sure if this is a grub or petunia question, ha ha.
