My washing machine is in my basement. 60 year old house. I use a filter on my drain hose to catch lint etc. The floor drain backs up now when I run the wash. machine. 10 years ago we had Roter Rooter do its magic. I am suspecting it is roots. I have tried a super duper drain cleaner I get at the local plumbers. Have you had success with liquid root killers? I am imagining a plumber would be $250?
