Some of the Gourd Drums that my DD, Melinda, made...she and my son in law does such nice work.

Only the two small ones in the center were made from gourds. Jo

I would love to give the drum a try. Maybe this summer when the grand kids come. Already set up some tables for them to make birdhouses and such.. but, drums would really make the boys happy.. I need to start getting supplies for that.

Your dd has alot of talent, it runs in your family..

I think I saw some of these in another picture of yours. Great idea and if anyone else can do it, Gourd can. Bet the grands will have a ball playing with your gourds/supplies.

Anticipation and I am a little afraid that they won't be entertained while they are here (they will be here for 6 weeks). My son (in USAF-ALaska) will depart two weeks before the children do.. hope I can still handle kids. lol..
