My question is will Dianthus survive in my zone which is zone 8 thru the hot summer? They are just past there peak bloom now. Thnx, Bobby
Will Dianthus survive?
Are they perennial? Perennials should survive. The annuals might peter out when it gets real hot but if you cut them back they might reward you with more blooms when things cool off again.
Hi Bobby,
They do great here in Camilla, GA, lol I have several annual (which re-seed, and a few perennial that do great here.. Where are you located in Camilla..We probably know each other, lol.
Larkie
here in zone 9, they struggle in the heat but they manage to pull through. If they are protected from the hot evening sun, they will do better.
