My husband likes European asters that he remembers from his childhood in Poland. Instead of the flat type, these are very double and are pastels. He remembers having to save the seed from year to year. Can anyone tell me where to get the seeds or plants? Thanks so much.

Anita, if it is callistephus as Baa refers to, you can get seed and plants pretty easily. I buy my seed from Stokes and I see plants very commonly in the garden center. This callistephus is a wonderful picking garden plant. I love em.

Lenjo, my mom (Anita) is still learning the ropes in responding to posts, plus she has a laptop. I think laptops are particularly difficult to learn the basics of computers on, but that's what she has. All that to say, she accidentally responded to your post on the Pansy Problem post.

She would like to know the URL for Stokes so she can order the asters. They are the ones she's looking for and she's excited about getting them.
