Tree Peony

Upton, MA(Zone 5b)

This is one of my Tree Peonies, Paeonia suffruticosa Kamata Fuji. It is called lavendar, but, depending on the light, looks pink sometimes. It's a beauty!

Not seeing any pink here, or lavender. :) no picture at all! Is anyone else seeing this?

invisible peony. Hard for the bugs to find.

shudhave, please try again! I'd love to see your tree peony!

Sorry about that! I am trying again! It looks good in the preview...so, wish me luck!

Thats a beauty! I'm a fragrance nut, does it have a fragrance?

Upton, MA(Zone 5b)

Unfortunately, minimal fragrance...you could plant it next to something wonderful that would make up for it, though! The herbaceous peonies have a lot more fragrance than the tree peonies.
