I used to live 23 miles north of Santa Fe, NM as a child.. get their magazine every year and drool,. anyway.. they do have the best looking drought tolerant gardens. Some of their natives do not do well here in CA though. I have brought some from my daughters yard and they just do not like this area.
I agree with Gourd. Some of their plants do well here and some don't. "Provence" lavender has done the best.
