This is an orchid that I call spotted, because it looks as if someone threw purple paint on it. LOL!

Thanks Honibee, It's a phalaenopsis orchid. I have it growing in a hydroculture pot.

QUESTION-- i recently rec'd two beautiful orchid plants as housewarming gifts... one is pahl new eagle yoshico beauty and the other has no name - both are blooming
my question is should i fertilize them now while blooming or wait until the blooms are finished and also when do i apply bloom helper???

I give my plants orchid fertilizer about every 4 or 5 watering. I feed them the same at all times. The ones I have in hydropots are always in a weak hydroponics solution.
