cypress climber & cardinal climber

White lk, MI(Zone 5a)

Anyone know if these vines are the same thing? I would also like to know if anyone in zone 5 grows them, and what kind of growing conditions they like.

They are both in the Ipomoea (morning glory) family and are similar, but are not the same plant.
