The Carolina jessamine got away from me again. The bees are very happy though. It does this twice a year.

Pretty. Does it smell good?

San Diego, CA(Zone 10a)

It does. It is lightly scented though. After living in a house that had the entire fenceline on one side of the house covered with jasmine, I can't handle it any more. Lol. I like this one because it is not so overwhelming.

Wow, that's a nice vine. I hope my little vine grows up to look like that!

We have that vine growing all over a fence. It does smell good.
Ours won't bloom until Spring.I've never tried rooting cuttings from it.I would like to grow some on another part of a fence in the yard. Are they hard to root?

Don't know. It says to propagate by dividing rootball. Never hurts to try.

I rooted some white and pink ones in water, but it took forever. Had them inside in pots, they shed blooms all over.

Oh I see,Thanks for the info.I may try to root some cuttings anyway and see what happens.
