The Garden Bookworm has been launched, and it looks like we have a "baker's dozen" of Iris books listed so far: http://gardenbookworm.com/advanced.php?author=&publisher=&category=34&search_text=&sorter=book_name&submit=Search
If any of these are among your favorites, please take a moment to rate them (and if some of them are not books you'd buy for yourself or others, that's good information to share, too!) You can add any books we missed, or let me know and I'll do it for you ;o)
Iris books...
Terry has there ever been a magazine trade on here before? Or of hardback gardening books? I have a couple of times on another site.
Some people have traded books and gardening magazines for plants or other books/magazines. Usually you'll find those offers in the Plant or Seed trading forums...
Terry, this a great feature! How would one add an iris book? The WORLD OF IRIS published by the American Iris Society is another great book. It's older, but some of the information is timeless!
Margie, to add a book, you'll find a link at the bottom of the Bookworm's homepage. It takes you to this entry form: http://gardenbookworm.com/add.php
Be sure to type in all the information you have, (and if you make a mistake it's okay - I'm keeping an eye on the new entries, and I'll tweak them a bit of they need it ;o)
Thank you Terry. I'm so glad you are there to keep a watchful/helpful eye.
I have another question Terry. If I wanted to "bookmark" this specific page, (or Watch the thread, so to speak) is there a way to do that?
I'm sorry - - I mean the Iris Garden Books PAGE within the Garden Bookworm.
Hmmm. i don't think you can set yourself up to watch it, but you can bookmark it. Go here: http://gardenbookworm.com/advanced.php?category=34&submit=Go
Then click on your "Bookmarks" button at the top of your browser, select "Add to Bookmarks"
Thanks! That will work! :-)
There's a Watch Thread at the top of the page and DG will let you know every time you log on, if there is an additional reply to the thread you were following
