I am so new to DG's that I really need some help. I am going to send seeds to tiG's Wierd Seed swap and I really want to make sure I don't send her common annuals (or perennials for that matter). I know that most marigolds and zinnias are common, but what else would you *not* want to see in a swap like this? What about hollyhocks? Goldstrum rudbekia? Liatris? Coreopsis?

Thanks for helping me out so I don't look too ditsy! lol

Pins you might like to try a search through the seed and plant trading lists against what you have, something like Hollyhock is going to bring up lots of traders for example.

Having said that, common plants do sometimes have interesting variations, now if you have a hollyhock that bears blue and yellow striped flowers, that could be considered unusual.
