Yesterday, I filled my first container of 2004......roses, perennials, and some clematis! It's a great feeling to back with hands in the soil...by the way, our weather was great! and now it's raining again! oh well?????????/ Elaine

Hi Elaine
what's the weather like there right now? it's too cold here. in AR I want to get outside so bad. but not yet LOL I plan on growing some veggies in containers this year. I'm gonna try to plant some tomatos upside down, and I'm going to plant some in the tin trash containers.

I am going to try the upside down tomato also. It isn't planting time here yet, about 6 inches of snow and a high of 10 today.

I do have lots of ideas for containers for this year. It will really be my first year for the container gardening, I'm really looking forward to Spring.

Try the "TUMBLER" tomato for hanging baskets.

I'll try to remember that one when I get to the greenhouse.
