Leaf cutter ants??

Navarre (NW FL), FL(Zone 8b)

Hello everyone. I am new to DG and have loved it from the very first day.

Being new I don't have much to offer now. I hope to increase my variety in seeds so that I might be able to offer something you are looking for. The following may seem like a strange request but I would really appreciate any help. I am willing to trade in some shape or form to make this a "win-win" situation.

In addition to plants I also collect insects. I'm in search of an ant that is usually a gardener's nightmare (mainly ranging from central Texas thru to western Louisiana). This ant strips leaves off of garden plants. The ones I'm looking for are the winged ones that only come out during the warmer times of the year. They look like large clumsy brownish wasps lacking the ability to sting or fly very well. They are usually found all over the ground after they have come out to fly during the warm summer months usually after a light rain. Once they fall to the ground, they lose their wings.

Once again, I would really appreciate any help provided in my search. I look forward to your reply. Thank you all for reading and take care. Also keep an eye our for my list as I will be updating it shortly.
