Purple Rebloomer

My first iris is blooming. This one reblooms reliably.

yes tell us the name. its a pretty one.

I have no idea of its name. It has been in my yard for years and I don't even remember how it came to live with me. This is true of many of my plants. I have gone to various garden clubs and plant society meetings over the years and also swapped with anyone who had something that interested me. Most is lost in the haze of long ago.

Love the color of that "haze of long ago!"

That's a beauty! I'm wondering if reblooming iris would have enough time to rebloom for me. Does anybody know?

I have 2 that rebloomed last year for me--Clarence & Immortality. I think you would have amuch better chance with alonger warm season that we have in Iowa.
I've planted other re-bloomers last summer--we'll see....
