Anyone Use "Natural" Wetting or Conditioners w/ Hydroponics?

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

A natural wetting and media conditioner, for use with soil, soilless, hydroponics and hydro-organics. Use to soften soils for better moisture penetration and to increase fertilizer availability, especially effective when combined with Catalyst. Combine with Earth Juice products for the best possible plant performance.

A must for conditioning coconut coir, peat, rockwool, potting soils, etc. Aids the flow of nutrients through feeding lines by helping to reduce blockages. and also aids in relieving organic mal-odors. Contains natural saponins. For faster germination and faster growth, include Earth Juice Assist.

What are your thoughts on this???

I have a hydroponic gardening book that suggests using a little dish detergent as a wetting agent. I imagine that this is an expensive alternative.

I would think that since rockwool doesn't have a problem absorbing moisture that it wouldn't be needed.

try the Hydroponics Forum =)

Thanks! I didn't even realize that there was a Hydroponics Forum. I'll have Dave or Terry move this thread over to that Forum! :~)

LONG PRE-SOAK PERIOD - Rockwool must be pre-soaked for 24 hours before use. Most other growing medium only needs to be well watered.
