......I would like to grow some radishes. I have a light/seedling set-up. Can I get away with using bagged top soil if I sterilize it ? Just asking 'cause it is so cheap and I have a lot =)
Or perlite , or potting soil and how deep a container should I use ?

Arrrgh!
I'd just plant em. I have a raised bed in my greenhouse that I planted radishes, 3 kinds of lettuce and chard into and my potting soil just came right out of the bag. They are looking beautiful, no problems.

if enzymes are needed start some sprouts,mung beans are fit to eat in 3 days, others as a rule longer, lentils adzuki and mung are some of the easiest to start with
