I bumped into Mick, the chairman of my Mature Students' Group at uni. He's organised another jaunt for us. This time it's to Morecambe. That's on the coast of Lancashire. It's not too far from Blackpool. It's another day at the seaside. Mick comes from Lancashire. When he books these excursions for us he nips home and sees his mum and dad.In fact this one is planned as an overnight stay. We will be put up at the University of Lancaster. It's going to be mid/end of February. I'll have to ask Mick for exact dates as I want to book my jaunt to Edinburgh soon.
Should I go, do you think? A long time since I've been away for a break. I've completely forgotten how to pack etc. I'm also not a very good sleeper away from home. :(
And should I invite Marie go with me? I'm not actually sure that she'll come. It's very close to Blackpool and that was too upsetting for her.
