Calla Lily, 'Green Goddess'

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

I'm in zone denial! Who says that you can't grow these beautiful shade loving plants year round???

I left them in one gallon containers for the winter near a North facing window. Here are the results.

How wonderful!

I love all the callas, and must add this one to my wish list. It's beautiful.

Those are beautiful! I'll have to check and see if that type is one of the ones among the seeds I've received from fellow members.

BTW - should I start my canna lily seeds indoors now?

Sure! Start sowing your seeds indoors, as well as, "winter sowing" outdoors. If you're not familiar with the term "winter sowing", please do a search in our Forums and read all about this easy and wonderful technique! However, since Calla Lilies love a warmer climate (zone 8 & up), they should only be sown indoors.
