Try this. A glass of grape juice(oh no !carbs!)can really jump start your workout 30 minutes before you start.Forget the food before, drink a cup of coffee(45 minutes before) with fructose sugar in it. You will have so much energy you won't believe it.This gets absorbed faster than food and has less unpleasnat effects( gas, etc).Fructose can be bought in the health food section of the supermarket.It's just fruit sugar, it has a great slow release of energy that doesn't spike the system like regular sugar.Keep working!
