Are any of you Hibiscus Freaks growing these species ??? How about Hibiscus grandiflorus (Velvet Mallow), Hibiscus 'Moy Grande' (Moy Grande Mallow) , or Hibiscus militaris ??
My fav hardy Hibiscus so far is , H. Coccineus .... beautiful red blooms that are fairly sturdy in the wind ....seems to be almost as hardy as H. Moscheutos .

Hibiscus 'Kopper King' and Hibiscus dasycalyx (Nacogdoches River Mallow)
this freak is growing your regular white-red and pink hibbies. Last year i bought the kopper king and the rabbits ate the buds-but it is growing wonderfully this year. I luv those dinner plate flowers!!
I am growing the Hibiscus Rosa Sinensis , Hibiscus syriacus and Hibiscus Helena. Just planted the Sinensis and Syriacus this year and cant wait for them to bloom but the Helena was already here when we move here and has beautiful flowers on it.
