Hi my friends,Have you heard about a french pumpkin called muscot pumpkin? it has a light brown outside and a bright orange inside its heavy ribbed and very beautyful I bought it from a shop today mostly because I want to try to grow it here.I use pumpkins for my chillie sause and this kind will add a lot of colour to it.

Harris Seed is marketing one here in the states that must be very close to what you are talking about. They advertise is as taking 110 days. the fruit is 15 lbs.
I wonder what the texture and flavor are like? Never have I heard of using it for salsa.
Hi KathyJo,Yes I can see it there it looks very alike fairytale to me.I used it as a ground to chilliesause, cook the pumpkin add garlic,hot pepper like some habs,coriander,oliveoil or what you think tastes good pot all in a foodprocessor and there it is.The pumpkin was very tasty and a nice and soft texture and a very nice colour.
