I went to the GH this morning to help Greenwood repair the damage the wind did & saw what looked like ladybugs. There was about 15 of them. How can I tell if they are LadyBugs or something bad. We do have several eaten leaves. These are redish & have quite a few black dots on them. I know there are other bad bugs that look a lot like LadyBugs.

Ladybugs do like to congregate in sheltered places to overwinter. They get into my trailer, and shed and shop every fall. I found a big pile of them under some of last years firewood, too. We call it invasion of the ladybugs.
I think the bad ones are not red, but yellow with spots. Anyone out there know for sure?

In a search I found 3 bugs they could be.. 1 ladybug 2 mexican bean beetle & the squash beetle. I hate to kill ladybugs but if it is one other I need to..
