Poor Snowdrop bent over in pain

Oh no!!! poor Rozanne. It has been really mild here. How come the Snopdrops feel the cold so when they flower in the winter?

they dont actually get affected by the freezing weather. All spring flowers bend over because, I think, they move water out of cells and tissues so it wont freeze and destroy the plant. or summat like that
