is finally blooming. Doubt I'll get any seeds before a killing frost so will dug up and hopefully keep it going for next spring.
Blue Sky Vine
I've never gotten seeds on mine....
Wow Donna, that almost looks fake it's so perfect!
Lovely. Mine has not bloomed yet. I can hardly wait.
I just saw seeds for a white one on ebay.......
It sure does have a pretty flower. I could never get it to bloom more than a bloom or two before frost. Great close up picture.
Donna,
I also live in z8b and have grown mine in the ground for several years. I just mulch it in winter. Why don't you take a nice sized cutting and leave the big root in the ground?
flicker in Covington.
This picture looks like a painting! This is a tough plant, it will come back after harsh winters if you follow Flickerīs sugestion.
I wonder if this would work for the Thurmbergia, Battiscombie???? Anyone know......Mine is so big and I have so much to protect already..........Think I will take some cuttings, plant it and see what happens.....
Dee
Both blue sky and Battiscombie are supposed to root cuttings fairly easily. Jen
