I saw on 20/20 last weekend, where they did an investigation into the side effects of using teflon coated cookware. I was amazed to learn that cooking with teflon skillets, kills pet birds that are inside the same house as the teflon use. How can it be safe for humans?? I did a little look up on the web out of curiosity, and found several sites popped up when I did a fibromyalgia/teflon search. Teflon flu and polymer fumes fever(PFF) have been well known for years. (Not to me, however).I don't feel comfortable using non -stick cookware now. Have any of you heard of this before? Was I just a dummy all these years? Lou
