Hibiscus Problem(s)

St. Petersburg, FL(Zone 10b)

This showed up in the past couple of days. There are four pictures. The first set is back of leaf and an enlargement. The Second set is the front.

Any ideas?

Looks like it could be a fungus of some sort. Are you getting leaf drop?

Franklin, NC(Zone 6b)

It reminds me of one of the bacterial leaf spots caused by Pseudomonas and Xanthomonas sp. The usual home remedy is good sanitation, keeping the foliage dry and using copper sprays. Here's a technical paper I found.
