web page background - help needed

I'm trying to make a background for web pages of a web site I'm working on. I've been given the background image which will be tiled and a logo to sit in the left corner. Do you know how it's done?

I nedd it to be all one because when I make the web page, add the background and insert the logo the logo interfeers with the next I write at the top of the page ie the text is too far right of centre when is should be centred.

Does this make sense? I hope so
