Growing wild in the Texas Hill Country, open high plains. This is one piece of a branch from the multi-branched, about 36 inches tall by wide. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you!

This is a guess, could it be an opuntia species? Give me a clue, and I'll look it up in my books, I don't know didley pop about the names of cacti Norma
Norma -- thanks for your response. I've finally determined that its an Optuntia Leptocaulis, and I've added it to the PDB.
