Recycled Goruds...

Crossville, TN

I had these little gourds in a basket for about 5 years....no color and very dull. I decided to re-paint them as close to the original colors as I could. Didn't do too badly, if I do say so my self. Jo

Wow, they look great. A great way to decorate for the fall too. I love that idea..

Whats that little green fellow? Did he get painted too?
Kidding aside. They look neat and what a wonderful idea.

Bitty...my little frog is special to me...my GF back home who's son was my Godson that passed away in his 40's had a special thing with little frogs...She and I have kept up the tradition...and this little frog was in flowers she sent when my DH died.

Morph....I have been "meaning"to do this for years...finally "gotaroundtoit". Jo

The little frog is cute. It almost looks real. I thought
it was something you painted also. I collect little frogs
too. What a wonderful traditon you have going.

Those look great! What kind of paint did you use?

I Used just craft Acrylic paint. Then I sprayed them with clear Acrylic. Jo

Thanks, jo. That's kinda what I thought you might have used, but just wanted to make sure. I really like the way they look.

☺ Glad you "gotaroundtoit"! Wind found one at the Gourd Show recently. I have way too many already. Love the history of the frog!

Way to go Jo! I knew you would get those creative juices flowing.
