This is my first year for my Virginia Creeper in Zone 3b,,the frost has gotten to my vine,,should I cut it back or leave the trails on the trellis,,With thanks ..

I only cut mine back in the spring once I can tell what is dead. If you want to control the shape, size or what it covers, you can selectively prune.
