I love eBooks... XOXO...Especially free ones

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

And Microsoft has been giving them away all summer long. right now, Iris Johanson's Fatal Tide is one of the picks. I saw it for just under $8 at Fictionwise.com, then saw it for free at Microsoft.com a mere two mouseclicks later. Gotta love THAT. ;)

Here's the scoop. To read these eBooks, you need the Microsoft Reader, which is available for free. You can download it for use on the following PC platforms:

Desktop/Laptop PC: http://www.microsoft.com/reader/downloads/pc.asp
Pocket PC: http://www.microsoft.com/reader/downloads/ppc.asp
Tablet PC: http://www.microsoft.com/reader/downloads/tablet.asp

The download, installation and activation instructions are pretty straightforward. Once you have the reader on your PC, the world is your oyster when it comes to free classics and many contemporary titles.

Here's a few links to whet your appetite. There are several eBook reader programs/formats available both free and at cost, but I am highlighting those which offer tomes formatted for the Microsoft Reader since that's what I use.
