cleaning/restoring old bedroom set

I have my parents beautiful 80(?) year old mahogany bedroom set, highboy, dresser w/ mirror and bed frame. It is dull, scratched in places, cig. burn on top of highboy, etc. It was originally shiny and still is in spots. How do I clean it and restore it? No, not stripping it. The bed is spindle so will probably do little with it besides clean it.
