Is this a dinnerplate dahlia? I love this color, the way its tones are slightly different.

It is officially called a "Formal Decorative" and is really more the size of a luncheon plate. :-)

This is a beauty, I love dahlias but the dinner plate dahlias plants are just too big for my small garden, but I do love the color on this one.

Wind, do you mean the size of the bloom or the size of the whole plant? I had a new dinnerplate dahlia this year and the plant itself only got about 2'tall but yet had huge blooms on it.
I love the big ones, they are so showy and bright!
No matter what size this one is, I'd love to add it to my garden.

It is lovely!
