I do live in Chile and I trade with gardening friends from all over....

From Australia, to the rest of the world, no much problems. Seeds going into Australia , that is where the concern is!.

List of botanical name have to be declared on envelope, seeds have to be nearly 100% clean and there is a list of genus and /or species that are not allowed to enter.

Perhaps you should repeat this query in the Garden Talk forum and you'll more response for sure!

It is ok to send seeds to the US - if they don't get caught in the customs ;) Tell your friends to pack them so that they don't shake and keep noise in the envelope and try to make the envelope as flat as possible.

I do as Evert says
