This has been blooming all summer.
Snail Vine
very pretty. I had seeds from these but none ever germinated :(
I've never seen a seed pod on mine. Wonder what it takes to get them to set seed?
The first time I grew one, pods formed. It was a hot and dry summer and the vine was in horrible soil. I didn't have time for it to mature with our early frost. The next time I grew one, it was in good soil and all it did was vine all over the flower bed. Saw maybe a half dozen blooms all summer. Moved on to the Corkscrew vine. Much easier for me to keep in bounds and it smells good too. I wonder if it takes something like the hummer moth to get into them to pollinate?
I don't know Brugie, this one blooms and blooms, but no pods. I don't fertilize my vines very much. I'll have to check and see what I can find out about it.
