Washing another picking of the red ones!
Very large crop, no blight, no cracks, no rot, what a great year for tomatoes!
Bernie
Great crop
Wow!!! We didn't plant 1200 ( I think that's what you said)
but we too have a bumper crop and disease free. Maybe its the way we held our mouth. The farmer next to me has a horrible crop.
Continued success!!!
Just had my first Better Boy right from the vine. We've had so much rain (2.3" on September 1 and more than 11" in August) that it was split but still tasted wonderful. Picked about a dozen Juliet tomatoes so far, good taste but not very juicy. Many green ones just starting to ripen if the weather will cooperate. With a mid-June planting many won't make it. :(
