My Dutchman's pipes

Well, I went hiking today with DH. We saw lots of HUGE A.durior plants, but not one seed pod. I looked till my neck was sore from looking up. I wonder if I'm too late for pods? I could see the little stem where the blooms had been, but no pods. The leaves were tattered and ragged from the pipevine swallowtail cats.
