Hand-sewn and -knotted rug

Has anyone here made a hand sewn and knotted Oriental type rug? I have a kit that came from Fields (I think I remember that correctly) in Chicago, 1930's. It's a Minerva Rug, 100% wool, has the yarn, and is about half finished. Finished size is probably close to 3' x 5'. I want to sell it but have no idea of the value.

Many of the women in my family have added a few rows, except me, and I've had it for about 20 years now. Figured I will never get around to it, so wish to sell it.
