I have this blooming today. I grow around 70 varieties of stapelias or I did until I managed to water some in the greenhouse when the temps were over 115 and cooked some without thinking about it being way too hot in there.

All of the stapelias have an odd texture to them. Most of them feel artificial or plastic almost.
Flowox, this is one of the lucky ones that i did not cook by watering in the intense heat.
Is that the one that is maroon/hairy and smells like a dead cat when it's in flower? I tossed all my Stapelia away, they were attracting the wrong crowd. (mealies)
